Lectures On The History Of Architecture. Mr. J. B. Noel Wyatt, of Baltimore, has given to the university a sum sufficient to secure the delivery of a course of three lectures next winter upon The History of Architecture. The trustees have accepted Mr. Wyatt’s offer and have arranged with three distinguished American architects, each of them to deliver one lecture. They are Prof. William R. Ware, of Columbia College; Mr. Henry Van Brunt, formerly of Boston, but now of Kansas City, and Mr. C. Howard Walker, of Boston. The subjects proposed for the three lectures are: ” Classical Architecture,” ” Gothic Architecture” and “The Renaissance.”
