Avery Sprague Ware (1792 – 1838)

”AVERY SPRAGUE WARE, son of Timothy and Abiel (Ray) Ware. Born in Wrentham, Mass., June 10, 1792. Studied theology with Rev. E. H. Newton, Marlboro, Mass. Ordained, 1825. Pastor, Congregational church, Montgomery, Vt., 1825-1830. Home missionary, in Vermont, 1830-1836; in Ohio, 1836-1838. Married Amanda Kenney, March 9, 1826. Children: Sylvester Howard; Philander Kenney; Timothy Lewis; Amanda Paine. A. B.; A.M. Died in Otsego, Mich., March 31, 1838.”
