Robert Ware ( – 1804)

REV. ROBERT WARE WAS THE FIRST MINISTER OF THE WARE BAPTIST CHURCH IN 1772,
LOCATED ABOUT A HALF MILE FROM THE WARE BRIDGE AND THE MIDDLESEX CO. LINE,
HE DIED IN 1804 AND SAMUEL WARE SIGNED AS A WITNESS TO HIS HAND WRITING OF
HIS WILL, DATED 14 NOV. 1793.
EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE WILL,
SAMUEL BECAME SECURITY TO THE COURT TO THE SUM OF $7000.00 IN BOND FOR
EDWARD JR., ADMINISTRATOR OF SAME. ALSO WE FIND THAT ROBERT AND SAMUEL
ADMINISTER THE INVENTORY OF CHESLEY DANIEL’S ESTATE IN 1796, BOTH SIGNED
AS WITNESS TO OTHER DOCUMENTS WITH ROBERT ALWAYS SIGNING FIRST.
ROBERT WAS THE SON OF EDWARD & SUSANA WARE WHO’S WILL WAS FILED IN MIDDX.CO. IN 1773, AND MENTIONS ALSO JAMES, EDWARD JR., RUTH, NANCY, GEORGE, CATHY, AND GRANDSON PHILLIP WARWICK.
ALTHOUGH SAMUEL’S RELATION IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME, ONE MUST NOTE THAT SAMUEL GAVE ALL OF HIS SON THE MIDDLE NAME OF EDWARD. ( WILL BKS. F, 2, 5, PGE. 20, 215, 253, MIDDX. CO.)
