“Augustus Hardie Ware, 56, of Madera, who for the past six weeks has been temporarily associated with his brother Paul D. Ware at Fontana Steel, died last week in Laurel Hospital in San Bernardino. He had been receiving medical care for a heart condition for the past six months. While in Fontana he made his home with his mother, Mrs. Hattie Ware at 2231 West Santa Ana Avenue. A native of Sherman, Texas, he had been a California resident for 28 years.
Mr. Ware for many years had been engaged in agricultural work in the San Joaquin and Imperial Valleys.
In addition to his mother and brother Paul he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Ware, Madera; five sons, Otis E. and Carl Warren of Madera, Raymond of Richland, Wash., Ralph Leonard of Osceola, Ind., and James Hardie Ware, Ft. Bliss, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Ina Marie Harvey, Sacramento; five brothers, Paul, Forest, and Olen, Fontana and Warren and Leonard, Littlefield, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. J. F. Whitehead, El Centro and Mrs. Henry Taylor, Fallbrook; and five grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday in Ingold Chapel with the Rev. Horace S. Cushing officiating.
Interment followed in Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington.”
