Memorial services for Jim Evelyn Ware, 86, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at the Oakland Cemetery.
Born April 13, 1922, in Madill, to William and Eulah Ulen, she died Saturday, June 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ware; a daughter, Jackie Lee; and a grandson, Wendyl Watts.
She was a very giving and dedicated mother and grandmother and was much loved by her family and friends. She was a member of the Boston Avenue Church for most of her life. She loved her Sunday School class and the many friends she made. She was known as “Nonie” to many and will be missed very much.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeri Lyn Lipe Watts; three grandchildren, Robbie Brooks and her husband, Robert, Ardmore, Laura Lawrence, Tulsa, and Rob Watts, Dallas; three great-grandchildren, Makenzie Patterson, Chase Brooks and Tanner Lawrence.
In memory of “Nonie”, contributions can be made to the “Road Race Z a Cure”, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1486, Ardmore, Okla. 73401. The race was started in 2008 by her granddaughter, Robbie Lyn and friends.
