Floyd E. Ware Obituary, 2002

“Floyd E. Ware, 65, of Batesville, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, of heart failure.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 29, at 2 p.m. at Goodway Pentecostal Church in Batesville. Rev. Mike Dutton officiated the service. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park. Wells Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Ware, son of the late William A. and Minnie Mae Mehan Ware, was born February 9, 1937, in Pope. He was a construction worker for Nelson Materials in Greenville, and a member of Goodway Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Bryant Ware of Batesville; four sons, Jerry M. Ware and Ricky L. Ware, both of Crowder, Donald E. Ware of Courtland and Michael Wayne Ware of Batesville; three sisters, Nora Lavell Ware Joyner of Sardis, Melva Louise Ware Bray of Southaven, and Carol Ann Ware Bryant of Marks; four brothers, Milton Ware, Monty Ware and Harold Dean Ware, all of Batesville, and Shannon Ware of Enid; and six grandchildren.”
