Harold L. Ware Obituary, 2008

“Retired MAGEE — Services for Harold L. Ware will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magee City Cemetery. Mr. Ware, 69, of Magee, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, in his home. He was a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member and Sunday school teacher at Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Powell Ware; sons, Harold L. Ware Jr. of Meridian and Daniel D. Ware of Flowood; a daughter, Daphne Ware of Brandon; a brother, David Ware of Mendenhall and a sister, Lucille Amason of Magee; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Ware and Lavon Ware and a sister, Jewel McAlpin and a daughter, Darlene Floyd and his parents, Eddie and Cordie Kennedy Ware.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.”
