Carrollton, GA – Mrs. Claudia Amaya-Ware, 22, of Fawn Circle, Carrollton, Ga., passed away suddenly Thursday, September 22, 2011, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born February 13, 1989 in Miami, Fla., the daughter of Nelson Alberto Amaya and Claudia Patricia Alfaro Amaya. Claudia was a student of nursing at West Georgia Technical College and worked for SMI. She was a member of Carrollton First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Antonio Amaya. Survivors include her husband, Winston Ware; son, Winston Michael Ware II; parents, Nelson Alberto Amaya and Claudia Patricia Amaya; sister, Laura Esmeralda Amaya; brother, Nelson Antonio Amaya, all of Carrollton; maternal grandparents, Laura and John Alsina, of Carrollton and Ricardo Alfero, of Nicaragua; paternal grandmother, Maria Esmeralda Montnegro Amaya, of Nicaragua; uncles, Rev. Alvaro Alfaro, of Newnan, Lester Amaya, of Carrollton; Martin Amaya and an aunt, Sandra Amaya Garcia, of Nicaragua. Funeral services will be conducted today, September 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with the Rev. Gary Davis, the Rev. Alberto Ramirez, John Cuentas, and Alvaro Alfaro officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.martinhightower.com.
