DOVER — Arthur Thomas “Tommy” Ware III of Dover died Monday, July 16, 2007 at home. He was 31. He was born in the Dover Air Force Base Hospital, to parents Arthur Thomas Ware Jr. of Camden and Ilona Looney and husband, William E. of Felton. Tommy worked for Josh Stump setting house trailers. He also worked as a tattoo artist. Tommy had a love for tattoos, and was a budding tattoo artist until a severe auto accident two years ago left him disabled and with poor vision. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. On occasion, he also enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Thomas Ware Sr.; and maternal grandfather, Vincent Steele. In addition to parents he is survived by his daughter, Brittany Ware of Milford; stepson, Dillon Fitzgerald of Greenwood; paternal grandmother, Ruth and husband, Claude Ashwell of Dover; maternal grand-mother, Ilona Steele of Felton; brother, Eric Looney of Felton; and sisters, Becky Looney and Jessica Looney, both of Felton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at the family burial plot in Maryland.
