CLARE WARE REYNOLDS, wife of the late Bradley S. Reynolds, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, in Atlanta, Ga. Born in Atlanta on March 7, 1923, she was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Women’s College in Lynchburg, Va. She worked for the American Red Cross until her marriage in 1946. They then moved to Huntington where they raised their three children. She was active in her church, Johnson Memorial Methodist, her bridge clubs and in local charities. Clare was a founding member of the Phi Mu Sorority on the Marshall University campus and loved attending the football games. She moved back to Atlanta in the year 2000 to be near family. Survivors include daughters Ellen R. Williams (Earl) of Suwanee, Ga., and Rebecca R. Donner (Greg) of South Boston, Va., and one son, Dr. Kenneth Bradley Reynolds (Vanessa) of Chesapeake, Virginia. Clare was blessed with five granddaughters. Donations may be made in her name to the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, 1925 Century Blvd. NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345. A visitation for family and friends will be held 6 to 8 p.m. at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va., Friday, November 9, 2007.
