Grace Alice (Ware) Osborne, 93, formerly of Olin Street, Windsor, widow of H. Fred Osborne, died Thursday (April 7) at the Masonic Home and Hospital, Wallingford. Born in Windsor, May 31, 1901, daughter of the late Clarence and Ella (Salisbury) Ware, she graduated from Windsor schools, and had lived in Windsor for most of her life, moving to the Masonic Home several years ago. She was employed for many years as a secretary to John Luddy of the Windsor Co. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, Windsor, and was a member and Past Matron and secretary for many years of the Eureka Chapter No. 56 O.E.S., now a member of Ionic Chapter No. 100 O.E.S. She was also a member and Past Matron of Charity Court No. 17 Order of the Amaranth, and had served as a Grand Officer of both organizations. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marge Osborne of Meriden; four grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Bruce R. Osborne. Funeral ser vices will be Saturday, 11 a.m., in the chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, with the Rev. Donald J. Hannan III officiating, preceded by an Eastern Star Service conducted by Ionic Chapter No. 100 O.E.S. Burial will be in Palisado Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends prior to the services, 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O.
