Jerry Lillard-Ware Obituary, 2004

Jerry “Duke” Lillard-Ware, 42, of Hot Springs died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in a local hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1962, at Long Beach, Calif., he was a member of Muscogee Creek Nation and Grand Avenue Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his father, Don Ware. Survivors include one daughter, Monica Lillard of Glenrose; his mother, Carlene Jenkins Ware of Hot Springs; four brothers, Jason Ware and Joel Ware, both of Hot Springs, Jared Ware of Belvoir, Va., and Jeffery Ware of Nashville, Te nn.; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins. The service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Cemetery with Brother Jimmy Turner officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Ware, Joel Ware, Rance Rynders, Jimmy Sorrels, Steve Watson and Jay Wiege. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
