AUGUSTA | Edythe Ware, 88, of Augusta, died Thursday, March 28, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. Mrs. Ware was born June 1, 1924, in Bracken County to the late Frank and Edna Sellers Boothe, but was raised by her aunt and uncle, Less and Nellie Ulrich Boothe. A homemaker and farmer, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Maysville, and the Augusta Red Hats. She was a lifetime member of the Maysville VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post and the Augusta Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ware leaves behind two daughters, Billie (Jack) Bare and Linda Garrison, both of Augusta; one grandson, Darren Garrison of Augusta; and one great-grandchild, Dustin Garrison and fiancée, Lois Muse; children, Victoria and Ashton Muse; one brother-in-law, Ollie Wood; one sister-in-law, Kay Boothe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Wilbur Ware, who died in 1988, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Boothe; two sisters, Christine Curtis and Marie Wood; her step-mother, Pauline Boothe; and a son-in-law, Tony Garrison. Services will be at 1 p.m. today, at the Augusta Presbyterian Church with Pastor Les Grooms officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Augusta. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., today, at the Augusta Presbyterian Church. Memorials are suggested to the Augusta Presbyterian Church, 101 East Fourth Street, Augusta, Ky., 41002.
