A teacher’s aide with Parkview Baptist Pre-School, Baton Rouge, and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 57 and a native of Lexington, Ky. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Monday. Visitation at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Lexington, from 9:30 a.m. until service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The clergy will be Dr. Tommy Middleton and the Rev. Bruce Treon. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Lexington. She is survived by her husband, John Dorsey Ware Jr. of Denham Springs; father, Lawrence R. Wester of The Villages, Fla.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Dana Ware of Eunice, and Stephen Page Ware of Denham Springs; a grandson, Cooper Ware of Eunice; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Amos Benjamin of Louisville, Ky., and Laurie and David Webb of Lexington; two nieces, Jenny Benjamin and Sarah Webb; and two nephews, Jonathan Benjamin and Drew Webb. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Elizabeth Page Wester. Pallbearers will be Stephen Ware, Robert Clay, Charlie Moreland, Amos Benjamin, David Webb, Jonathan Benjamin, Drew Webb and Gilbert “Sonny” Mooney. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Stogner, David Bowman, Jack Kyle, Bill Toler, Chris Germany, Richie Edmonds, Mike Haman and Noel Wassam. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
