YAKIMA – Glenda L. (Brost) Ware went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the age of 65. Glenda was born in Pasco, WA on Aug. 16, 1945 to Rubin and Darlene Brost. The family moved to the Wapato area when she was five years old. She graduated from White Swan High School in 1963. Mom worked various jobs: Seattle First national Bank; 13 years for Snokist Growers cannery office; Putman Freight; and the job she loved the most, Strand Apples in Cowiche where she worked in the shipping office. She always said they were her second family. She retired after 11 years due to her health. Mom is survived by two daughters, Becki (Dave) Ramirez of Yakima and Yvonne (Angelo) DeLorio of Montana; one son, Duane (Shannon) Webster of Seattle; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Dustin, Matt, Deidra, Kelly, Brittany and Cody; four great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Adeena, Shaelynn, and Dyllon; and three brothers, Allen (Connie) of Ephrata, Leon (Sandy) of Wapato, and Dana (Linda) of Yakima. We would like to thank Dr. Sharma, Dr. McLaughlin and Dr. Menashe for all they did for our mom. At Mom’s request, there will be no service. Mom said to remember her with a big smile and a two step.
