TRENTON – Harry Ware Jr., age 55, of Trenton, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009, at Compassionate Care Hospice St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Trenton public school system and was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. He was formerly employed by Coca-Cola, in Hightstown, for several years, the City of Trenton Department of Parks and Recreation for more than 13 years, and most recently worked as a contracted maintenance worker for New Jersey Transit.
Son of the late Harry and Winifred Ware, brother of the late Robert, Howard, and Charles Ware, he is survived by his wife, Lorraine Ware; three sons, Harry Lamont, Terrence and Harry E.; a daughter, Lorreshia; two sisters, Shirley A. Ware and Tina Harris; a brother, Frederick Ware; an aunt, Helen Gaye; his mother-in-law, Naomi Williams; sister-in-law, Annie Ware; 12 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Willie Manning, T. “Boot” Howard, Annabell Gunn, James West, and Vivian Woodson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday (April 30) at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park Hamilton.
