Ida Lee Ware, 71, central Kansas City, died Feb. 11, 1992, at the home. She was born in Haynesville, La., and lived in Shreveport, La., and Los Angeles before moving to Kansas City two months ago. Mrs. Ware was a cook at the Highland Hospital in Shreveport. She was a member of St. Rest Baptist Church, Shreveport, and its usher board.
Survivors include two sons, Billy R. Ware and Frank Ware of Los Angeles; three daughters, Dorothy Wilson of the home, Cleo Spratts, Long Beach, Calif., and Joyce Burton, Lawndale, Calif.; a brother, Obie Capers, Haynesville; a sister, Elizabeth Goldsmith, Coffeyville, Kan.; 22 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eley & Sons Chapel; burial in Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
