Jamie Ware Bothwell, age 63, passed away October 15, 2006 in Provo, Utah. He was born March 15, 1943 to John Hubert and Doris Ware Bothwell. He married Linda Joy Senecal September 26, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri. Jamie was proud to have served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He served three tours in Viet Nam. He was also a member of the VFW Post 4918 in American Fork, Utah.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed singing in the choir for the Cherry Hill 6th Ward. Jamie was also a firm supporter of the Boy Scout Program.
Survivors include his wife Linda Joy Bothwell of Orem, his mother Doris Bothwell of Florida. His children: Teresa Lynn “Terri” Bothwell of West Virginia, Jamie Bothwell, Jr., Christina Rose Bothwell, step daughter: Jacqueline Sue Stafford all of Alabama. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth B. Shannon also of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father John Hubert Bothwell.
He loved his country, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. Interment will be in the Camp Williams Veteran’s Memorial Park Cemetery, Bluffdale, Utah with military rites provided by VFW Post 4918.
