Lester Ware Jr., 42, died Jan. 14, 2010, in Los Angeles. He was born in Wabasso and moved to Los Angeles in 1982. He was a professional body builder and trainer and also worked in the construction industry. He attended the Wabasso Church of God and was a vacation Bible school student. He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Los Angeles. He attended Sebastian Elementary School and Sebastian River Middle School in Sebastian and Lynwood High School and Fremont High School in Los Angeles, graduating in 1986. At Fremont High School, he still holds the title of Mr. Fitness. Survivors include his wife, Sheryll Ware; sons, Lavone and Lamar Ware of Los Angeles; parents, Lester and Bessie Ware of Los Angeles; sisters, Cynthia Holiday and Jennifer L. Ware of Los Angeles, Leslie Bradshaw of Ocala and Stephanie Johnson of Norfolk, Va.; and grandmother, Mary Gatson of Seattle. Services: Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Wabasso Church of God, with a celebration of life to follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Los Angeles. Local arrangements are by Thorne’s Mortuary of Stuart; out-of-town arrangements are by Tillman Riverside Mortuary of Los Angeles.
