Deborah Lorraine Ware Obituary, 2008

Deborah Lorraine Ware, 53, of Chicago, a former longtime resident of Evanston, died May 30 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago.

Born May 1955 in Evanston, she received her education in the Evanston Public School System and was a 1973 graduate. She continued her education at Sawyer Business School in Evanston and most recently received her certificate in phlebotomy at Olympia College.

Ms. Ware, a quality assurance clerk, was employed by Washington National Insurance Co. for many years. She also was employed at G.D. Searle and then settled at Hu-Friedy.

She joined Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful Norwood Inspirational Ensemble choir member.

Survivors include her mother, Minnie Ware; two children, Gregory J. Donerson Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Erin Brielle Donerson of Evanston; her children’s father, Gregory Donerson Sr. of Harvey, Ill.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Majors and Therese Brammer; three nephews, a niece; an aunt; and some cousins, great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service took place June 5 at First Church of God in Evanston. Interment was private.
