Dorothy Mary Ware, 83, a resident of Highland Manor, Exeter, formerly of Ninth Street, Wyoming, and Outlook Point Commons, Wyoming, died Saturday.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Mathias and Elizabeth (Phillip) Scheller. She was a 1937 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Scranton, and was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, Exeter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son, James, Wyoming; daughter, Sandra Tanribiler, Berwick; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Metcalfe and Shaver Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, Kingston Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
