|Joseph Henry Ware
April 9th, 1843- November 7th, 1907, Born in Stanton, Haywood County, Tennessee.
1843 – Husband of Mary Speed Boyd 1845-1934.
He enlisted on March 26th, 1862 in Company I, 1st Confederate Cavalry, at Jackson Tennessee. On a muster roll dated March 9th, 1864, shows him discharged. He later would join the 14th Tennessee Cavalry Company H, he surrendered May 4th, 1865, and was paroled on May 11th, 1865 at Gainesville, Alabama. After the war he became a member of the Hiram S. Bradford Bivouac in Brownsville Tennessee.
