Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for William Dixon Ware, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Ware of Hardwick, whose death occurred in a local hospital Monday morning, following an illness of several weeks.

Rites were conducted at the Hardwick Baptist church by the Rev. R. L. Bridges. Burial was in Black Springs cemetery.

In addition to his parents, the youth is survived by one brother, Oscar L. Ware; his grandmother, Mrs. D. L. Humphreys of Augusta, and his grandfather, O. C. Herringdine of Hardwick.
