Betty Osborn Warner Ware, 70, of Stoney Brook, Pisgah Forest, N. C., died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at Transylvania Community Hospital.
A native of Brevard, Colo., and Akron, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Douglas Warner and Ethel Bailey. She attended high school in Amherst, Mass., and Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. In Akron, she was self-employed in market research for several firms. She worked in telemarketing for the Home Builders Association of Greater Akron Womens Auxiliary. In 1991, she volunteered with the American Red Cross in Brevard, N. C., helping them update 911 files.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin; son, Daryl K. Ware of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Cynthya Ware Warner of Bowie, Md., and Carol Ware of Akron; grandsons, Douglas and Kevin Ware of Tallahassee, Fla.; granddaughters, Jodie and Tracy Warner of Bowie, Md.
A memorial service for friends will be held Sunday, June 15, 2 p.m., at the Ware residence in Pisgah Forest.
