Rita D. Ware, 65, of New Castle passed away the morning of Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born on June 5, 1952, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late John and Willie Dean Ware.
Rita was a member of Prevailing Word World Outreach Center.
She loved dancing to her old school music.
A very caring and giving person who loved people, Rita will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Rita is survived by her children, Marsha Ware, Dalynne Ware, Willie Ware and Torrance Respress; brothers, Jimmy Hammond, John Hammond, Raymond Hammond and Willie Stewart; sister, Theresa Hammond; 12 grandchildren with one on the way; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alfred Stewart.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Prevailing Word World Outreach Center, 114 Oakland Ave.
Homegoing services will be conducted at noon Friday at the church, officiated by Apostle David M. Young Sr.
Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
