Obituary of Faye B. Wall Rich Ware

HIGH POINT Mrs. Faye B. Wall Rich Ware, 83, entered into heaven’s gates as an angel on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at the Brookdale Memory Care North in High Point. Faye was born February 11, 1935 in Winston-Salem, NC, the daughter of James Howard and Virginia “Jennie” Hutchens Brown. Faye worked for 27 years with R. J. Reynolds and when she retired was a technician with the R & D Department. She started going to church in her childhood and was saved in the fifth grade. She always took her daughters to church and led them to the Lord and continued going to church until her health began to fail. Faye loved to grow beautiful flowers, draw beautiful paintings of people, flowers and sceneries. She was just an angel and would do anything for anyone. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and was deeply loved in return. Faye was preceded in death by her husbands, John Rich, and later by Aubrey Ware. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth B. Bland and a grandson, Brad Farmer. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Clay of High Point, Linda Dyanne Bowman of Yadkinville; step daughters, Lisa Rich Hopkins and husband Joe of Brown Summit, Connie Ware Rice and husband Wayland of Charleston, SC; stepson, David Ware of Greensboro; sister, Rosa B. Gaddy; grandchildren, Tara Lynn Desautels, Travis Ledbetter (Amanda); stepgrandchildren, Lauren McMillan and husband Michael, Shana Graham and husband Devon; great-grandchildren, Francois Desautels, Dominick Desautels, Jacob Ledbetter, Luke Ledbetter; stepgreat-grandchild, Jocelyn McMillan and special friends, Odessa Rhoades, Nona Brooks and Sandra Goins. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at South Elm St. Baptist Church, 4212 S Elm-Eugene St. Greensboro, NC 27406 officiated by the Reverend Dr. Lawrence Clapp. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Memory Care for the wonderful care given to our mother and kindness shown to her during her stay.
