“FELT–IMPORTED BY DR. MERRITY.
Felt will make his second season at the stable of Josiah W. Ware, near Berryville, Clarke county, Va. particulars hereafter. Mares sent by the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road, to the care of J.N. Carter, of Charleston, Jefferson county, if attached to the passenger cars will reach his farm the same evening. Mares can be sent by the canal boats from the District of Columbia, to the care of the same gentleman. It is desirable that owners of mares should write both Mr. Carter and Mr. Ware a week or two previous to sending them, of the day they will be put on the car or boat.”
