"Eula Mary (Grant) Taylor, 87, Cushing, died Saturday,
Sept. 7, 2002, in Cushing Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palmer Funeral
Home Chapel in Cushing. Interment will follow in Fairlawn
Cemetery north of Cushing under the direction
of Palmer Funeral Home.
Taylor was born June 22, 1915, in Oxford, Ark., to William
and Mary (Ware) Owens. She received her early education in
Oxford.
She married James Homer Taylor on March 28, 1933, in Oxford.
They made their first home in Oxford and lived there until
moving to Yakima, Wash., in 1948. They moved to Cushing in
1952.
Taylor worked as a housekeeper for the Dr. George Smith
family and the Milt Thompson family in Cushing. She was
a member of First Christian Church.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband in 1983;
12 brothers and sisters; one granddaughter; and by one
great-grandson.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Boling and her husband
C.A. of Cushing; one son, Bobby Taylor of Tulsa; five grand-
children, Kevin Boling of Cushing, Mark Boling of Oklahoma
City, Janna Shaffer of Dallas, Texas, and Michael Taylor and
Charles Taylor, both of Tulsa; and seven great-grandchildren."
