“Willie Neal Ware was the son of Johnie W. and Mala Ware. He lived in Chickasaw County all of his life, and was an invalid since birth, but was seriously ill for only a few days before his death, at age 32, at the home of his parents. His funeral was held on Friday, January 17, 1941, at the Wesley Chapel in Houston, the Reverend Ashmore of Houlka officiating. He was survived by his parents and two brothers, David and Dewitt. The pallbearers were Zane Clark, George Malcolm, Leon Neal, Paul Neal, and James Ray.”
