Died 12:30 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 1991, at her residence. She was 72, a native of Pascagoula, Miss., and a resident of Carville for 51 years. Visiting at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Gabriel, 9 a.m. to Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Father Jon Koehler. Entombment in church mausoleum. Survived by husband, John Henry Lapeyrolerie, Carville; a daughter, Mary A. Melancon, Harahan; two sons, John Lynn Lapeyrolerie, Baton Rouge, and Daniel J. Lapeyrolerie, Carville;two sisters, Shirley Falsetta, Donaldsonville, and Theresa Redmon , Algiers; a brother, Dan Ware, Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Preceded in death by parents, Luther and Edna Marchand Ware. She was a member of St. Gabriel CatholicChurch and the Ladies Altar Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Foundation or the charity of your choice.
