"KERRVILLE  -  Marie  Wootton,  62, died Friday, 
March 14, 1997, at her residence.

   Graveside  service  will  be  at  2 p.m. 
Monday in Garden of Memories. Arrangements are 
by Grimes Funeral Chapels.

   She  was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Savannah, Ga., 
and had been a resident of  Kerrville  for  45 
years. She was a homemaker and a member of the
First Baptist Church.

   Survivors  include  her  husband,  Louie  L. 
Wootton of Kerrville; her mother,  Pearl  Ware  
of  La  Mirada,  Calif.; two daughters, Debra L.
Rhodes  and  Ann  Marie  Wootton,  both of Kerrville;
a son, Gary Alan Wootton of Ingram; seven sisters,
Edna Hanniford and Betty Gulli, both of  Charleston,  
S.C.,  Jackie Bridges of Kerrville, Mickey Renshaw 
of Anaheim, Calif., and Nita McVicor, Nelle Dalton 
and Brenda Erlitz, all of La  Mirada; a brother,
James  Ware of Charleston; and four grandchildren."
