ADA — Memorial services for Susan Ann Shiplet,
61, Ada, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral
Home Chapel, Tammy Hampton, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Shiplet died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at
an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Nov. 14,
1950, at Richmond, Calif., to Lloyd and Helen
Lucille Cowley Ware.
She graduated from high school in Shidler, Okla.,
near Stroud. She married Kenneth R. Shiplet on
May 19, 1982. He died Dec. 8, 2003.
Mrs. Shiplet was owner and operator of Shiplet
Bail Bonds in Ada, a member of the Ada Elks Lodge
1640, where she served as president of the Ladies
Auxiliary, and she was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include four daughters, Lena Dehart,
Ada, Charlene Al-Wazzan and her husband Mohommad
of Kuwait, Marni Money and her husband Praveen
of Arizona, and Lori Lundgaard and her husband
Josh of South Carolina; a brother, Steve Ware
Sr., Roff; nine grandchildren, Destiny Dehart;
Christopher Baker and his wife Noor; Jassim,
Hussian, and Ali Al-Wazzan; Ethan and Connor
Lundgaard; and Lola and Ginger Money; three
nephews, Steven Ware Jr. and his wife Melody
of Konawa, Houston Ware and his wife Leandra of
Byng, and Jeremiah Ware; and two nieces, Helen
Eleanor Field and her husband John of Charleston,
S.C., and Kelly Ann Cross and her husband Mike of
Broken Arrow. She was preceded in death by her
parents.
The family says those who wish may make memorials
