“Holmes K. “Bo” Ware 52, died Saturday morning in Lafayette. Services will be at 1 p. m. today in Martin and Castille fundral Home Chapel with the Rev. Corley R. Linberger, rector of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
A native of Haynesville, he had lived in Lafayette for the past 12 years. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Lutheran church. Mr. Ware was president of Petro Log inc of Lafayette and member of the American Petroleum Institue, Louisiana Geological society, Oakbourne County Club, Petroleum Club and Lafayette City Club. Survivors include one son, two daughters, one sister and two grandchidren.
He was the son of Halbetrt Gantt and Mattie Crook Baird Ware. ”

My only brother (John Kendall Ware) died shortly after my dad (Holmes Kendall Ware), so I , like you are the last of his name. I only have cousins from my dad’s sister, Arline Frances Ware Tynes, also deceased. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for your hard work. Carolyn Ware Hebert
