“Lorene Ware, 70, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Louisville. She was a native of Clark County, Kentucky and was a retired clothing examiner for Fruit of the Loom/Union Underwear in Frankfort. She was also a member of the Beechridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William Thornton Ware, Sr. of Shelbyville; her daughter, Ramona Faye Ware of Lawrenceburg; her sons, Tommy Bickers of Lawrenceburg and Robert Earl Bickers of Frankfort; her sisters, Mary Stevens and Hazel Townsend, both of Lexington; her brother, Robert Estes of Winchester; her step-daughters, June Gilbert and Lois Tindall, both of Shelbyville, and Donna Garland of Romulus, MI; her stepson, Rick Ware of Lawrenceburg; and 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Baxter officiating. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bagdad Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.”
