“Lulabelle Ware, 34, of 354 1/2 E. 8th, died at 12:45 this morning in St. Rita’s Hospital of natural causes.
She was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Yazoo County, Miss., the daughter of Willie W. Fisher Jr. and Lula Mae Milton Fisher. Her mother survives at 1514 W. Spring, and her father survives in Los Angeles.
She was a machine operator for the Westinghouse Electric Corp. and a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and the Symbols of Joy Chorus at the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Ware at home; three sons, Darrell, Wendell and Walter, all at home; two sisters, Pearlie Fisher of 1031 S. Reese and Lillie Rowe of 224 N. Jameson, a brother, Afelix Fisher of K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan; two half-sisters, Naomi and Carolyn Fisher, both of Los Angeles; two half-brothers, Bruce Fisher of Hawaii and Tommie Fisher of Los Angeles; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie W. Fisher Sr. of 303 1/2 E. 9th.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Jones Brothers Mortuary.”
