“Veteran of Confederate States Army and member of the Robert E Lee Camp #158. Enlisted in 1862 at Atlanta, Georgia. Served in Commpany K, 42nd Georgia Regiment. Moved to Fort Worth in 1903, although he first came to Texas in 1876.”
