CHARLOTTE – Mrs. Ella Mae Henegan Ware, 82, of 1327 Grovewood Drive died Sunday, June 26, 2005, at Carolinas Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, with the Revs. V.M. Worthy and David L. Worthy officiating. Burial will be at Mecklenburg Memorial Park in Huntersville, N.C.

Mrs. Ware was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, where she served with the pastor’s aid, Missionary Group No. 1 and the hymn choir.

Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Ware of the home and Anthony Ware of Charlotte; two daughters, Dorothy Ware of the home and Kimberly Ware of Charlotte; her brother, Douglas Henegan of Merced, Calif.; her sister, Cleo Thomas of Washington, D.C.; several grandchildren, including two whom she helped raise, Rondell Ware of the home and Rene White of York; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The body will be placed in the church 1 p.m. Saturday.
