COLUMBIA – Rose Ware Clark, 100, of 2217 Bee Ridge Road, Columbia, widow of Focian S. Clark, died March 14, 2005, in Central Carolina Health & Rehab. in Columbia, S.C. She was born August 24, 1904, in Gaston County, N.C., a daughter of the late David Franklin Ware and Mary Ellen Bumgarner Ware. She was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church, Columbia, and a former member of Flint Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Barbara Clark of Gastonia, N.C.; daughter, Hilda Sue Roberts, Columbia; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and six sisters. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, conducted by the family, under the direction of Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia. Pallbearers are Donnie Clark, Larry Traywick, Dan Stewart and Mark Roberts. Memorials: Spring Valley Baptist Church, 91 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223 or Flint Grove Baptist Church, 217 E.
