He was born to Guy and Mary Ware in Elkins, W. Va., and retired from the Atlantic Foundry after 28 years of service. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife of 36 years, Ethel; two brothers and a sister. He is survived by sons, Stephen (Pamela) Brady, Randy Brady, James Jr. (Robyn) Ware and Roger (Laura) Ware; daughter, Doris (Robert) Karnuth; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral service will be Friday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rt. 619). Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
