Marjorie Ann Ware Baker, 66, of Erie, died Monday, June 23, 1997, at
Hamot Medical Center.
She was born in Titusville, Crawford County, June 17, 1931,
daughter of the late John W. and Helen G. Moore Ware Sr.
A resident of Erie for the past 44 years, Mrs. Baker worked for
Comptech Inc. for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merle F. and Paul Voisin.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Leamer of Millcreek
Township and her husband, Howard, and Karen Baker and Charlene Love,
both of Erie; five sisters, Ruth Saxton of Millcreek, Nora Ware and
Jeannette Shields, both of Erie, Virginia Pinetti of Lawrence Park
Township and her husband, Thomas, and Lillian Ruot of Titusville and
her husband, Charles; a brother, John W. Ware Jr. of Waterford and his
wife, Jane; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home West, 536 W. 10th St.,
today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held there
Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rev. William E. Foreman, assistant pastor of
First United Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, will officiate.
Burial will be at Cheney Cemetery in Titusville.
