Lorena Ellen Ware, 86, widow of the late Franklin Ware, Jr., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at the Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY.

A native of Bourbon County, she was the daughter of the late David William Alexander and Gertrude Claypool Alexander Hatfield. She was a retired Cook Supervisor of the Bourbon County Schools, a member of the Clintonville Christian Church for over 73 years where she was a former Service Chairperson of the Lizzie Weathers Circle, and was a den mother for the Clintonville Cub Scouts.

Survivors include stepfather, Andrew Hatfield of Clintonville; one son, William Franklin (Shirley) Ware of Paris; four grandchildren; one sister, Darlene Arnett of Nicholasville, KY; seven great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws; two nieces and several cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Clayton Ware.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at the Clintonville Christian Church by Rev. Chuck Kemp. Burial will follow in the Clintonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday Feb. 8, 2015 at the church.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Clintonville Christian Church.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, Paris, KY.
