Alverda M. Ware, 84, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and 1-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie Wolfe Bruescwitz. She was the head Librarian at the Marshall County Library for many years and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Ware.

Survivors include her husband, LaVergne Ware; a daughter, Nancy Johnson of Lewisburg; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
