Ronald Clifford Ware Obituary, 2016

Ronald-Ware-Obituary
Ronald Clifford Ware was born on December 10, 1938 in Montesano, WA to Wesley and Pearl Ware, and passed away from congestive heart failure on August 10, 2016 at Whatcom Hospice House. Ron was a commercial fisherman for 50 years, fishing the Puget Sound and Alaska. He was regarded as a great “web man” who had a knack for mending and modifying nets. Ron will be missed by the many he helped. He was a generous man who loved animals and was tenderhearted toward those who were less fortunate than himself. He often cooked for the holidays and hosted those who had no family. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing, photography, cooking, gardening, reading, watching sports and traveling with his late wife, Esther. A high point in his life was when he got saved. After giving his life to Christ, Ron devoted many years to studying the Bible, became ordained, and cherished the time he spent in leadership and teaching as assistant pastor at his church in Langley, BC. Health issues eventually kept Ron home, where he spent his recent years bird watching, tending his garden and telling stories about his life and many adventures hunting and fishing. Many thanks to Little Bear for all the meals they served, and to the amazing team from Hospice for the excellent care they provided. All are welcome to join in the Celebration of Ron’s life on Friday, September 16th, 2:00 at the Squalicum Yacht Club, 2633 S. Harbor Loop Dr., Bellingham, WA. Bring memories to share!

Stanley Clay Ware Obituary, 2016

Stanley-Ware-Obituary
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, and Brother Stanley was born on August 16, 1960 and grew up with his parents and three brothers in Nampa, Idaho. He left this earth peacefully in the arms of his loving wife with his children by his side on August 23rd, 2016. Stan graduated from Nampa High School in 1978 where he met his high school sweetheart, Karen, and fell in love. They were married in Alvin, Texas August 23rd, 1980 and later relocated to West Jordan, Utah where they raised their three children. Lake Powell and Alaska “adventures” were just part of the many trips they embarked on as a family. Stan loved fishing, hiking, skiing, boating, and enjoying the great outdoors. He also enjoyed rock crawling as a hobby. He built numerous rock crawlers, ending up with a fully custom built rock crawler which was his pride and joy. One of his famous sayings was “It’s all about the adventure” and rain or shine on every trip he always made it a good one. Being athletic was one of his passions he worked very hard at, along with his close friend Jeff Pettit. Together they entered the Mr. Natural Body Building Competition and both took home trophies. Wrestling was another one of his passions when he was in school and through the years he worked with his two boys coaching and teaching them his tricks of the trade. He took great joy in watching his son Alex take State in 2001. Stan became known as “Coach” to the later generations of boys and his son Andrew graduating later at West Jordan High School. He took pride in taking care of his body physically and mentally. Many of his family and friends would refer to him as “Webster” due to the overwhelming amount of knowledge he displayed. He was intellectually rich. He would often pop quiz his children on the songs on the radio. He could name every artist and song that came on, sometimes down to the year it came out. He was a great counselor as well. He was wise beyond light years and helped guide and support many people through challenging times in their lives. He always knew the right things to say, being a person of comfort that many would run to. He instilled in his children the value of working hard which he exemplified through his successful career in the auto body industry. He was very passionate about everything in life and work was no exception. For him it was not work or a job but a lifestyle. Treating everyone like family, most feel he was a father more than a boss. Because of him, Dave’s Body Shop is regarded as the highest quality repair shop in Utah. Through a lot of hard work he was able to show the world how good he really was by becoming an Audi and Tesla certified repair facility, the two hardest and most strict certifications known to date. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 27th, 2016 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, located at 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah 84095. A visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45 am on Saturday prior to the service. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
