Ronald L. Ware

Ronald Lee Ware, 74, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born September 29, 1944 in Winchester, he was the son of the late Everette Oscar Ware, Jr. and Jeanne Iris (Gruber) Lunceford.

He was a member of Pikeside United Methodist Church and a member of the Loyal Order Moose 120, VFW Post 896, and American Legion Post 14.

He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U. S. Army and was employed as an operation’s chief for the 167th WVANG.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tena Gail (Custer) Ware; two daughters, Jody Shull and husband Erle and Melissa Hyatt and husband Matthew; and two granddaughters, Jenna Shull and Isabella Hyatt.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Ball officiating. Military graveside services will be held at the Mausoleum at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Donations may be made in Ronald’s name to Pikeside United Methodist Church 25 Paynes Ford Road Martinsburg, WV, 25405 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Crystal Gail Ware of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Crystal was born on July 10, 1984, in Toledo, Ohio, to Carl and Carol (Lorenzen) Ware.

Crystal who had a heart of gold will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her children, Rachel, Erica, Nicole, Larry III, Michael Cutshall; parents, Carl and Carol Ware; siblings, Charity (Jason) May, Candy (William) TenEyck, Carl (Jessica) Ware; nieces, Ashley, Skylyn, Leilana, Alison; nephews, Stephen, William Jr., Orlando; great nephew, Taevin; her children’s father, Larry Cutshall II. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Caroline Lorenzen, Alta and Blas Pena; mother-in-law, Betty Fountain.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where her funeral service on Saturday will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the family payable to Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home.

FORT WORTH–Marguerite Jane Ware, 87, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, in Fort Worth. FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: King Cemetery, Aley, Texas. Marguerite was born April 12, 1932, in Oak Grove, La., to Roy Maxine Conn and Georgie Lee Hollingsworth Conn. She was married to her husband, Jimmy Ware, for 55 years. She loved playing games, cards and dominoes. Marguerite was a great cook. She was a simple woman and very down to earth. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ware; son, Curtis Ware; son-in-law, Jerry Allen; four sisters; and a brother. SURVIVORS: Sons, Jim Ware and wife, Janis, Grady Ware and wife, Pam; daughter, Paula Allen; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ware; sister, Betty Ebarb; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jane Ware Jones Trotter August 8, 1929- October 8, 2019 Gadsden, AL- Funeral services will be Thursday, October 10th, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. (CST), at Gadsden First United Methodist Church for Jane Ware Jones Trotter, 93, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, October 8th, 2019. Rev. Sam Hayes and Rev. Ken Casey will officiate. Graveside services will take place Friday, October 11th, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. (EST) at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services. Jane was a graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, GA. She was a member of the 21 Club, Gadsden, and a longtime member of Gadsden First United Methodist Church. She was also a homemaker to her family, all of whom will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Mitchell Jones; mother, Aileen Ware Jones; sister, Carolyn Jones Rosser; and brother, Charles Richard Jones. Survivors include her spouse, Lee Smith Trotter, Jr.; sons, Howard Lee Trotter and wife, Lynne, Charles Richard Trotter and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Charles Owen Trotter, William Tyler Trotter, Mitchell Clay Trotter, Leigh Allison Bradfield husband, Kevin; great grandchildren, Leland Trotter, Elise Trotter, Hayes Bradfield; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Turner and Alec Holtsford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Gadsden First United Methodist Church. Virginia “Ginny” Ware nee Price, 92, passed away on September 26, 2019 at Westminster Place in Evanston, Illinois surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late R. Louis “Louie” Ware; loving mother of Virginia Ware, Griswold (Lois) Ware and the late Richard (Cheryel) Ware; cherished grandmother of Kevin, Megan (Charles), Annie, Helen, Charles, George, Richard (Stephanie) and Michael (Lydia); dear sister of Mary Elizabeth Hunt and fond aunt to many. Ginny was born in Evanston, Illinois, then moved with her family to St. Louis and Pittsburgh, before settling in Winnetka, Illinois where she graduated from New Trier High School. She had just completed her first year at Bradford Junior College in Massachusetts when she met Louie in the summer of 1946. They began their 63 years of marriage on December 31, 1946. Ginny and Louie lived in Denver and Seattle before moving to Northfield, Illinois where they lived for more than 50 years. Ginny raised her three children, loved music and art, was an avid gardener and volunteered in numerous civic organizations, including the PTA and the Garden Club. Dogs were always a part of Ginny’s and Louie’s life: Amigo, Lobo, Cleo, Millie and Peaches. Fond of outdoor activities, Ginny and Louie were avid skiers and tennis players into their eighties. As her children grew up, she began to work in the travel business. She and Louie traveled the world for many years visiting the Caribbean, Chile, New Zealand, China, South East Asia, Europe and even Antarctica. More than being out in the world, Ginny loved being at home with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and their friends. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 4 PM in the Elliott Chapel at Westminster Place, 3131 Simpson St, Evanston, IL 60201. WARE, Glen Alen – age 69, of Swartz Creek, died October 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday, October 18, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 W. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Glen was born April 3, 1950 in Goodrich, the son of Barney Chester and Naomi Aksah (McCauley) Ware. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Glen was a truck driver for many years with various companies. He was a car enthusiast, a mechanic and enjoyed classic car shows. Ware Esq., Glenn T. Retired U.S. Navy Captain Glenn T. Ware Esq, 56 formerly of Grand Rapids Michigan, most currently of Mclean VA, passed away on January 6, 2019 while on vacation in Hawaii. Survived by his wife of 20 years Leslie, daughter Olivia and son Tanner. Also survived by mother Helene, brothers; retired U.S. Army Major Robert (Cheryl) Ware, U.S. Air Force, Lt. Colonel, Paul (Linda) Ware, sister, Carolyn (Greg) Gizzi and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Al Ware. Glenn graduated from Union High School, then went to College at Central Michigan, upon graduation he entered Cooley Law School and graduated with a J.D. in law. He then joined the U.S. Navy as a member of the Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) and served 13 years active duty and 12 years as a Captain in the reserves. While serving in the Navy Glenn received an International Law Degree from Harvard University. After retiring from the Navy Glenn worked as an international attorney, most recently as a partner with Price Waterhouse Cooper. Glenn loved vacationing with his family and boating. He was an avid Ham Radio operator (KK4MBP). Glenn was an active Navy Sports supporter. He passed away from cancer while completing his bucket list in Hawaii. He was a great husband, father and son and will be deeply missed.Services for Glenn have not been completed in Mclean VA at this time. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial Contrubutions in Glenn’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.

Betty was born on June 28th 1933 in Roscoe, Texas. to R.Q. and Gracie Spence. She married Harold E. Ware and had two children, Harold Jr. and Regina. They celebrated 67 years of marriage. Betty worked at Anchor Metals as a computer operator. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and the best Meme EVER! She enjoyed reading, traveling, crafting and dancing with Harold. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Ware, and her son Harold Ware Jr. “Bunky” and her brother Bobby Spence.
