Terry Ware Obituary, 2002

Terry Ware, 40, formerly of 228 Redwood Drive, Easley, died Monday, June 17, 2002.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of John and Mary Sue Ware Jr. of Easley. He was employed as a chef with the Marriott in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio.

Survivors: Sisters, Joyce Harrison of Warrensville, Ohio, Angela Ware of Easley and Wanda Spralling of Easley; grandmother, Agnes Ware, of Easley; and adopted father, Andre Smith.

Service: 4 p.m. Thursday at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary. Burial: Robinson Memorial Park.

Family: 228 Redwood Drive, Easley.

Lester Eugene Ware Obituary, 2003

Lester Eugene Ware, 56 of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Lorain, passed away at his home, Thursday, February 6, following a 3 month illness. Mr. Ware was born, October 11, 1946 and has lived in Sheffield Lake the past 29 years.

Mr. Ware worked for the Ohio Turnpike Commission in the Highway Maintenance Department and continued to work up until the time of his illness. He enjoyed camping fishing and most importantly cooking. He was described by his family as being the happiest when he was preparing a meal and the larger the crowd the better. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Ware is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly R. (nee Snurr). Other survivors include two daughter, Paula Figueroa (Sammi) and Lisa Santigo (Robert), both of Lorain; a son Steven (Holly), of Sheffield Lake; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Barbara Hoffman (Dean) of Newport, VA, Helen Woods and Lora Jones both of Lorain; 2 brothers, Frank Jones and Jesse Nichols, also of Lorain. He is survived by death by his Parents, French and Willis (nee Jones), stepfather Carl Nichols, Shirley Nichols and granddaughter Jaclyn Santiago.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Friday, February 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at the funeral at 1 p.m. Pastor Greg Varndell of the First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake will be officiating. Cremations by Busch Crematory. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be forwarded to the Fist Baptist Church, 633 Harris Rd., Sheffield Lake, 44054 or the American Cancer Society, 43099 N. Ridge Road, Elyria, 44035.

Mary Frances Ware Obituary, 2008

Mary Frances Ware, 87, of Quincy, died at 12:39 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles.

She was born Thursday, January 6, 1921, in Quincy, a daughter of the late A. Lee and Alta E. Kress Barthauer.

On April 17, 1938, she married Hugh E. Ware in Bellefontaine and he died October 4, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a Son, Ronald Ware; a Brother, Roger Barthauer and two Sisters, Mabel A. Thornton and Helen Miller.

She is survived by a Son & Daughter in Law, Richard L. & Doris Ware of Versailles; Son, Kenneth D. Ware of Quincy; Daughter, Patricia A. Wise of Xenia; Brother & Sister in Law, Bob and Ruby Barthauer of De Graff; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was a 1938 graduate of Quincy High School and a member of Quincy United Methodist Church. She owned and operated Mary’s Bridal Shop in Bellefontaine and Quincy for many years. She was a member of a sewing club in Quincy and she and her husband enjoyed camping and RVing. They were members of The Good Sam Camping Club.

The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2008 Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Pastor N. Matthew Wright officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff, OH.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Quincy United Methodist Church.
