The Connecticut Valley Chautauqua assembly this year was very successful under the direction of Dr. W.L. Davidson, who continues to manage the platform next year.  Recognition Day is always one of the special features of the session, and the Round Tables are important daily events.  A great number of new readers were secured this year, and many C.L.S.C. members were graduated.  The Bible study and Sunday school normal work were under the direction of resident pastors, and the children’s class was in charge of Mrs. Florence S. Ware.”
