Reuel D. Ware

“Reuel D. Ware was made deacon of this church at its organization, and when he passed away in 1881, having served in that office thirty-four years, it was recorded that ‘In him we have had a remarkable example of simple, humble, faithful and Godly living, of earnest and unbroken interest in the Redeemer’s kingdom.’  In 1868 his nephew, George D. Ware, was chosen to the same honorable office, which he still holds, having served faithfully twenty-nine years.”
