“Miss JOSEPHINE WARE, a very promising pupil of Mr. Sherwood, gave a most excellent concert at the Melonson, May 3d.  Her piano playing is very far above the average in one so young, and she may confidently count on a brilliant future.  Mrs. E. Humphrey-Allen assisted with several of her beautifully rendered songs.”
