“63,897.—Albert Fickett and Justin C. Ware, Titusville, Pa.—Device for Measuring Liquids.– June 18, 1867.—The tank has a vessel within it of known measure which communicates with the barrel by openings stopped by a valve operated from the outside. The vessel has a discharge faucet and a transparent tubular indicator.
Claim.—First, the arrangement of the vessel B, secured within the tank A, and used in connection with a valve and stop cock, substantially in the manner and for the purpose specified.
Second, in combination with the above an indicator, arranged as and for the purpose specified.”
