“AN ACT to Incorporate the Deer Park Turnpike
Road Company, of Baltimore County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly incorporation of Maryland, That Vachel W. Baseman, James Fenner Lee, R. H. Thompson, Charles Ware, Ephraim I. Triplett, Richard W. Hook, Alexander Dolfield, Alfred Lowe, Luther Welsh, Sr., Sylvester W. Baseman, Charles Griswold, William I. Cook and James L. Ridgley, Jr., be and they are hereby incorporated a body politic for making a turnpike road on or near the bed of the Deer Park Road in Baltimore County, to be commenced on the said road at the bridge over the north branch of the Patapsco, extending to Mr. Hamill’s Store at the intersection of the Deer Park and Old Houte. Church Roads, and running from thence either along the said Deer Park Road to intersect the Liberty Turnpike Road, or from the said Hamill’s Store on the most direct and practicable route passing by Painter’s Mill to intersect the Reisterstown Turnpike Road. …”
